Assalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.

Yang terhormat Ibu Guru Bahasa Indonesia SMP Negeri 1 Kota Serang

Dan teman-teman yang saya cintai

Terlebih dahulu marilah kita panjatkan puji syukur kita atas kehadirat Allah Swt. yang telah melimpahkan rahmat serta karuniaNya kepada kita semua sehingga kita masih dapat dipertemukan di tempat ini dalam keadaan sehat walafiat tanpa suatu kekurangan apapun. Tak lupa shalawat serta salam kita curahkan kepada junjungan nabi besar kita Muhammad Saw. serta para sahabat dan keluarganya yang sudah menuntun kita pada jalan yang diRidhai oleh Allah Swt. Selanjutnya ucapan terima kasihpun saya sampaikan kepada teman-teman yang sudah menyempatkan hadir pada acara ini. Teman-temanku yang berbahagia, pada kesempatan yang baik ini perkenankanlah saya disini untuk menyampaikan suatu hal yang penting tentang penyakit demam berdarah yang melanda kita, mengingat beberapa hari yang lalu ada salah satu dari teman kita yang terserang penyakit demam berdarah tersebut.

Teman-temanku yang berbahagia

Telah kita tahu penyakit demam berdarah ini sudah menyerang salah satu dari teman kita disini, oleh karena itu kita sebagai murid di sini harus mencegah agar penyakit tersebut tidak menyerang yang lain. Penyakit Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever disingkat DHF atau yang lebih kita kenal sebagai penyakit Demam Berdarah Dengue disingkat DBD adalah penyakit yang disebabkan oleh infeksi virus yang dibawa oleh Nyamuk Aedes Aegypti dan Aedes Albopictus betina yang umumnya menyerang pada musim kemarau dan hujan. Virus tersebut menyebabkan gangguan pada pembuluh darah kapiler dan pada sistem pembekuam darah sehingga mengakibatkan pendarahan.

Gejala-gejala dari penyakit demam berdarah ini timbul setelah melewati masa inkubasi yaitu tiga sampai dengan lima hari sejak seseorang terserang virus demam berdarah. Berikut adalah ciri-ciri dari seseorang yang sudah terinfeksi virus demam berdarah:

1.      Mendadak panas tinggi selama 2-7 hari berturut-turut, badan terasa lemah, lesu dan suhu badan berkisar antara 38^oC – 40^oC atau lebih. Demampun tak kunjung sembuh walaupun sudah diberi obat penurun panas.

2.      Ada gejala pendarahan, misalnya bintik-bintik merah pada kulit yang tidak hilang meski kulit direnggangkan, mimisan, gusi berdarah, dan tinja berdarah.

3.      Terjadi shock, denyut nadi melemah, tekanan darah turun, gelisah, muntah dan ujung tangan dan kaki terasa dingin.

4.      Pemeriksaan laboratorium trombosit sudah di batas bawah normal (batas normal: 150.000-500.000) dan terjadi kenaikan kekantalan darah.

5.      Terjadi gangguan sirkulasi.

6.      Ada pembesaran hati.

Apabila teman-teman sekalian menemukan atau menjumpai gejala-gejala yang menunjukan adanya infeksi deman berdarah yang telah disebutkan tadi pada anggota keluarga atau teman-teman sekitar segeralah bawa ke dokter.

Perlu kita ketahui Nyamuk Aedes Agypti dan Aedes Albopictus ini dapat dibedakan dari jenis-jenis nyamuk lainnya, ada beberapa ciri yang khas dari nyamuk tersebut yaitu sebagai berikut:

1.      Berwarna hitam dan belang-belang atau loreng-loreng putih pada seluruh tubuh.

2.      Berkembangbiak di Tempat Penampungan Air (TPA) dan barang-barang yang memungkinkan air kotor tergenang.

3.      Nyamuk ini tidak bisa berkembangbiak di selokan / got atau kolam yang airnya langsung berhubungan dengan tanah.

4.      Biasanya menggigit manusia pada pagi atau sore hari.

5.      Mampu terbang sampai 100 meter.

Telah saya sebutkan tadi bahwa Nyamuk Aedes Aegypti dan Aedes Albopictus hanya dapat berkembangbiak pada tempat penampungan air dalam keadaan kotor, contohnya adalah bak mandi, tempayan, drum, pot bunga, ban bekas, tempat sampah yang lembab dan kotor dan lain-lain. Biasanya demam berdarah akan menyerang orang-orang yang tinggal di daerah pinggiran, kumuh, lembab, serta anak-anak berusia dibawah 15 tahun. Namun tidak menutup kemungkinan orang yang tinggal di perumahan elite pun bisa terserang demam berdarah. Maka dari itu kita harus melakukan pencegahan terhadap penyakit tersebut dengan cara memberantas jentik-jentik nyamuk atau sarang-sarangnya, berikut adalah cara pencegahan terserang penyakit demam berdarah:

1.      Pemberantasan

Pemberantasan nyamuk dapat dilakukan dengan cara 3M-Plus yaitu sebagai berikut:

(1)   Menguras semua penampungan air sekurang-kurangnya seminggu sekali seperti bak mandi, ember dan kolam. Dengan cara tersebut berarti semua penampungan air akan selalu bersih.

(2)   Menutup semua penampungan air.

(3)   Mengubur atau menimbun semua barang-barang bekas yang dapat menjadi tempat perindukan nyamuk.

(4)   Memberikan abate untuk membunuh jentik-jentik nyamuk.

2.      Fogging

Fogging atau pengasapan dilakukan jika terjadi kasus-kasus dengan ditemukannya tiga penderita atau lebih demam berdarah dalam radius 100 meter dari penderita demam berdarah positif atau terdapat satu penderita demam berdarah yang meninggal dunia. Fogging ini bermanfaat untuk untuk membunuh nyamuk Aedes Aegypti dan Aedes Albopictus dewasa.

3.      Sistem kewaspadaan dini

Sistem kewaspadaan dini dapat dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pertolongan pertama dengan baik ataupun mencegah tergigit nyamuk dengan memakai obat nyamuk.

            Ada beberapa cara untuk mengobati penyakit demam berdarah ini, pengobatan dapat dilakukan dengan cara:

1.      Pemberian cairan tubuh (elektrolit) untuk mencegah dehidrasi akibat demam dan muntah. Dan minumlah air minum sebanyak-banyaknya minimal 20 gelas berukuran sedang setiap hari.

2.      Konsumsi obat yang menggandung acetaminophen untuk mengurangi nyeri dan menurunkan demam.

3.      Banyak istirahat.

Setelah kita tahu tentang ciri-ciri orang yang terserang penyakit demam berdarah, ciri-ciri dari Nyamuk Aedes Agypti dan Aedes Albopictus, dan pencegahan hingga pengobatan dari penyakit demam berdarah ini, sudah selayaknya kita sebagai siswa-siswi di SMP Negeri 1 Kota Serang ini untuk mencegah penyakit demam berdarah tersebut. Maka dari itu kita harus melakukan kegiatan-kegiatan pencegahan dari penyakit tersebut. Ingatlah 3M-Plus dari saya tadi, menguras, menutup, mengubur semua penampungan air, dan terakhir memberikan abate. Jadi, intinya adalah kita harus menjaga agar lingkungan disekitar kita ini dalam keadaan bersih dan sehat termasuk tempat penampungan air (TPA) karena lingkungan yang tidak bersih atau kotor akan menjadi tempat perkembangbiakan berbagai penyakit tak terkecuali penyakit demam berdarah ini. Dengan dilaksanakannya kegiatan-kegiatan pencegahan tersebut oleh kita semua di sekolah kita ini, insyaallah penyakit demam berdarah tersebut tidak akan menyerang kita disini.

Demikianlah pidato yang dapat saya sampaikan dalam rangka penyakit demam berdarah yang menyerang salah satu teman kita ini. Saya harap yang saya sampaikan kali ini dapat diambil manfaatnya. Sekian dan terima kasih atas segala perhatian teman-teman sekalian dan mohon maaf untuk segala kesalahan atau tutur kata yang kurang berkenan dihati teman-teman baik yang disengaja maupun tidak disengaja. Talaga Warna (Example of Narrative)

Long, long ago there was a kingdom in West Java. The kingdom was ruled by a king. People called their king His Majesty Prabu. Prabu was a kind and wise king. No wonder if that country was prosperous. There’s no hunger in this kingdom.

It was a very happy condition. But it was a pity that Prabu and his queen hadn’t got any children. It made the royal couple very, very sad. Some old men and women who was respected by Prabu suggested the king to adopt a child. But Prabu and the queen didn’t agree. “No, thank you. But for us, our own daughter or son is better than adopted children.”

The queen was very sad. She often cried. That was why Prabu decided to go. He went to the jungle. There he prayed to God. Every day he begged for a child. His dream came true. A few months later, the queen got pregnant. All people in the kingdom felt happy. They sent many presents to the palace to express their happiness.

Nine months later a princess was born. People sent their presents again as a gift to a little princess. This baby grew as a beautiful teenager then.

Prabu and Queen loved their daughter so much. They gave whatever she wanted. It made Princess a very spoiled girl. When her wish couldn’t be realized, she became very angry. She even said bad things often. A true princess wouldn’t do that. Even though the princess behaved badly, her parents loved her, so did the people in that kingdom.

Day by day, the princess grew more beautiful. No girls could compare with her. In a few days, Princess would be 17 years old. So, people of that kingdom went to palace. They brought many presents for her. Their presents gift were very beautiful. Prabu collected the presents. There were really many presents. Then Prabu stored them in a building. Sometimes he could take them to give to his people.

Prabu only took some gold and jewels. Then she brought them to the goldsmith. “Please make a beautiful necklace for my daughter,” said Prabu. “My pleasure, Your Majesty,” the goldsmith replied. The goldsmith worked with all his heart and his ability. He wanted to create the most beautiful necklace In the world because he loved his princess. The birthday came. People gathered in the palace field. When Prabu and queen appeared, people welcomed them happily. Prabu and his wife waved to their beloved people.

Cheers were louder and louder when the princess appeared with her fabulous pretty face. Everybody admired her beauty. Prabu got up from his chair. A lady gave him a small and glamorous pillow. A wonderful necklace was on it. Prabu took that necklace. “My beloved daughter, today I give this necklace to you. This necklace is a gift from people in this country. They love you so much. They presented it for you to express their happiness, because you have growing to a woman. Please, wear this necklace,” said Prabu.

Princess accepted the necklace. She looked at the necklace in a glance. “I don’t want to accept it! It’s ugly!” shouted the princess. Then she threw the necklace. The beautiful necklace was broken. The gold and jewels were spread out on the floor

Everybody couldn’t say anything. They never thought that their beloved princess would do that cruel thing. Nobody spoke. In their silence people heard the queen crying. Every woman felt sad and began crying too. Then everybody was crying.

Then there was a miracle. Earth was crying. Suddenly, from the underground, a spring emerged. It made a pool of water. The palace was getting full. Soon the place became a big lake. The lake sank all of the kingdom.

Nowadays the water on that lake is not as full as before. There is only a small lake now. People called the lake “Talaga Warna”. It is mean “Lake of Colour”. It’s located in Puncak, West Java. On a bright day, the lake is full of colour. So beautiful and amazing. These colors come from shadows of forest, plants, flowers, and sky around the lake. But some people said that the colours are from the princess’s necklace, which spreads at the bottom of the lake.

Balancing Glass Trick (Example of Procedural)

MATERIALS

·         Drinking glass

·         Three butter knives or spoon (same size & style)

·         Three empty glass bottles

·         Water

EXPERIMENT

1.        Place three glass soda bottles at an equal distance apart. They need to be close enough that the knives can reach from the bottles' mouths to the center.

2.      Intertwine the knives in the fashion shown in the picture, where the blade of one knife lays atop the handle of another.

3.     Rest the knives atop the bottles. The handle of the knives should sit on the mouths of the bottles. The knives will stay intertwined.

4.     Set a drinking glass on top of the knives at the spot where they all intersect. The cup will sit safely.

5.     Pour water into the glass, and watch as the apparatus remains steady.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

This appears to be complete and total magic, but the key is the point at which the knives intertwine. The blades of the butter knives are intertwined in a weave. Each knife goes underneath a second knife while going over the top of a third. This "weave' makes it so that, when pressure is applied to all three knives, force is being applied downward and upward. With the handles of the knives resting on the glasses, and the fourth glass resting at the intersecting points of the knives, balanced forces enable the full glass of water to remain stationary atop the knives

My Terrible Experience (Example of Recount)

When I was 10 years old, I with my family went to Fatmawati Hospital in Jakarta to visit my grandmother who sick. Actually my grandmother had a get -well, so she was able to go home from the hospital.

We went to hospital in Sunday morning, in that time it was not rain. Fatmawati hospital divided into two parts, the left building and right building. First time, because we didn’t know my grandmother’s room, so we come to the wrong building, but instead we were to the right building. After riding the elevator to the left building then we know that we come to the wrong building. Then we went back downstairs and up the elevator to the right building. My grandmother’s room is located on the top floor. When I arrived at my grandmother’s room, I saw the rain from the window and I have a bad feeling about that. Then my mother said “Look! The rain is slanted”. I saw too the rain was slanting because the wind. The rain gradually increase slant because the velocity of wind increases too. After 5 minutes I saw something fly object, I thought that was a red -paper. After one minute, I saw utility poles in the upper roof fell down, so we frightened even we were on the top floor but luckily the utility poles just fell down to the left building. Directly we went to first floor through the emergency stairs. And apparently it was small tornado, and I just knew that red paper was not really red paper but that was a roof tiles flying.

We frightened because small tornado could causes building fell on us. After we arrived at first floor the rain was stopped, and small tornado also stopped. We directly back to the home, when we looked out we saw large tree hit the cars in the parking. But luckily my car did not struck down the tree. But it was a terrible experience because that was the first experience I saw small tornado and I do not want this happened again in my life. That was my unforgettable and also my terrible experience.

Westerlund 1 BKS AS (Example of Report)

Westerlund 1 BKS AS, have you ever heard that? Hmmm, Westerlund 1 BKS AS or also known as Westerlund 1 W26 and Westerlund 1-26 is red hypergiant star. One year ago, I’ve heard that VY Canis Majoris or VY CMa is the biggest star, but now VY CMa is the eighth biggest star in the universe. Even a few months ago, the biggest star is NML Cygni. However, according to data from Astronomy said that Westerlund 1 BKS AS is the biggest star the astronomers have found yet and also one of the most luminous red supergiants known. Westerlund 1 BKS AS located in Westerlund cluster or in the southern constellation Ara or 16,000 light years from Earth.

When the astronomers studied the images of Westerlund 1 BKS AS using the Very Large Telescope Survey Telescope they spotted something unique. They discovered a huge cloud of glowing hydrogen gas around W26, something very rarely found around these hypergiant stars. In fact, the only other nebula they've seen like it is around a star called SN1987A. This is a big hint that what they're seeing here is W26 blowing off its outer layers and it may be on the verge of exploding, not just as a supernova, but possibly a hypernova. Such clouds are ionized, meaning that the electrons have been stripped away from the atoms of hydrogen gas. The discovery is described in a paper appearing in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (arXiv.org). Clouds of this type are rarely found around massive stars and are even rarer around red supergiant stars such as Westerlund.

Like the other big star, Westerlund became so big because hydrogen fuel has run out on it and began to combine hydrogen with the outer shell of the helium nucleus & when all the fusion fuel runs out, the star will collapse catastrophically in a supernova explosion & it will become a black hole.

According to the data about VY Canis Majoris, if the passenger airplane flying along the surface at 900 km/h! It would take 1100 years to circle it one time and if the light surrounding VY Canis Majoris will take approximately 8 hours. Imagine VY Canis Majoris was just having a diameter of 2.9 billion miles, how about Westerlund 1 BKS AS which has a diameter of 3.54 billion miles, it will take approximately 1350 years. If we placed Westerlund 1 BKS AS to the center of the solar system, its surface can reach Saturn. Can you imagine? The sun only looks like a yellow dot. If sun just like that, what about Earth? What about you? You’re nothing.

So Westerlund 1 BKS AS is the biggest star the astronomers have found yet, which 16.64 billion times bigger than the Sun. Westerlund 1 BKS AS discovered a unique huge cloud of glowing hydrogen gas around the surface which rarely found around these hypergiant stars.
